WNU Wear: What to wear on the Jubilee Weekend
To celebrate 70 years on the throne we are getting a much-appreciated, very-glorious four-day weekend (and not to be too British about this but can everyone please have their fingers crossed for good weather…)
We’re a predictable nation and know that your weekends will all involve at some point speakers blaring Mr Brightside, endless jugs of Pimms, some really great sarnies and lots of union jack merch. But the uniform for this weekend? Well, it’s got to be shirts, hasn't it!
See the all the outfits we will be wearing for the royal festivities next week.
17:59 GMT on Wednesday
Your summer work wardrobe is fresh in the Poplin Morning Blue stripe and a pair of tailored white trousers, but accessories are key for getting you from behind the desk to at the bar in record time. Open up the collar and layer on gold chains, completing the look with a red lip.
The Family Do
Anyone else received a flyer through their door for the local street party? Yep, us too. Round up the family, string up the bunting and get everyone to bring a dish. Keep it easy and cool today in the Linen White under a pair of dungarees and a pair of sunnies (actual sun TBC).
Someone man the Barbie
Rain or shine, there will be a garden BBQ. Wear the Weave Ocean Blue stripe loosely - optimistically - over a swimsuit and jeans and slip on a comfy pair of slides so you can nip in and out of the kitchen replenishing the Pimms. Get someone on the meat whilst you whip out the perfect summer side salads.
The Recovery
Well well, perhaps we took it a bit far this weekend, made one too many plans, had one too many summer cocktails.. Nothing a ginger shot won't help fix!* Time to relax all day in the comfiest Weave Celeste Blue Co-ord and a snug pair of clogs.
