In a material synonymous with the warmer months, we took the classic linen summer shirt and gave it a twist to create the ultimate cool girl shirt for the Summer.
INTRODUCTIONIntroducing the Cabana, characterised by its open collar and boxy shape, this short-sleeved shirt was made for the summer heatwaves. Borrowing from the boys again, The Cabana is a vintage inspired men’s bowling shirt and to adjust it for women, the Cuban collar has been elongated and the shoulders dropped for the perfect relaxed fit. The shirt is designed to already be oversized, meaning there is no need to size up.
MATERIAL
What is Linen made from? The fabric is derived from the flax plant and is well known as a durable material; the strong fibres ensure that this piece has longevity (a core value to WNU when creating shirts) and will therefore last you many wears. Our Linen blend is lightweight and breathable making it the easiest and most comfortable material to wear in hot weather. These shirts also feature ethically sourced Mother Of Pearl buttons, replacing the original polyester buttons, so that these shirts are completely plastic free. SOURCING
The fabric for all of our Linen shirts is sourced and woven in WNU’s factories in Portugal, which were selected after a strict auditing process, ensuring that both factories upheld the highest standard of working standards and ethical values. After the linen, which is derived from the flax plant, has been woven into our shirts, they are shipped to our warehouse in the UK, where the members of our team individually go through all the customer orders to ensure the shirts are perfect before they are sent out.
STYLING
The Cabana can be worn cool or cute, but either way, you need to be wearing it this Summer. Its easy loose fit makes it perfect to throw on open over a bikini top or vest and a pair of frayed denim shorts for an effortless day look that could take you from the beach to the pub garden.
