INTRODUCTION

The softest material and the perfect, relaxed fit makes The Brushed collection one of WNU’s most comfortable shorts and the ultimate cosy piece to have in the colder seasons.We don’t just borrow shirts from the boys, we also want their shorts, that’s why WNU has created the perfect pair of shorts for women. With a loose fit that sits on your waist or hips - whichever is most comfortable for you - and pockets (arguably the best bit), we have been able to create the most flattering and comfortable pair of shorts imaginable.

MATERIAL

What is Brushed cotton? It is still 100% organic cotton, but it refers to a process that occurs to the cotton. The material undergoes a ‘brushing’, where fine metal brushes carefully rub the fabric to produce fine fibres from the woven yarns, creating extra softness on the surface of the fabric. To make ours Brushed collection, we have brushed both sided of the shirt to keep you extra cosy and ensure the fabric is super soft against the skin. SOURCING

Both of the factories that WNU use, for the weaving of the fabric and the creating of the shorts, are located near to each other in a town in Portugal. They were both chosen as following our auditing process they proved to hold the highest standard of ethical working standards. Our collections are all hand sewn together with scrupulous detail, so you know each pair of shorts has personally been made with love (our labels don’t lie!). The shorts are then transported to our warehouse in Kent where our team makes sure every customer receives their order.

STYLING

Autumn and Winter weather go hand in hand with the Brushed shorts. Think cosied up in front of the fire with some cashmere socks and a book in one hand. Don’t pack these away in Summer though! This short is perfect to slip on over your swimsuit in those cool summer evenings, or, throw on after a day at the beach.
