THE WEEKEND: BRUSHED

Easy, oversized, soft. This is the casual shirt of weekend dreams - and as if it couldn’t get better, it’s sustainable.

INTRODUCTION
This collection is inspired by lazy weekends and chilled weekdays, pub lunches followed by reading books. In our staple tailoring inspired by menswear, this slouchy fit keeps some structure, meaning it drapes beautifully when tucked or even just when the sleeves are rolled! (This is like the shirt you stole from your Dad because you couldn’t believe he could own something so cool?). Our Weekend shirt is designed with a really loose fit, sitting off the shoulders and away from the body, creating a super oversized style meaning you do not have to size up to achieve the desired look.

MATERIAL
What makes up our Fine Brushed cotton so great though? Well, it’s all about the process... The material undergoes a ‘brushing’, where fine metal brushes carefully rub the fabric to produce fine fibres from the woven yarns, creating extra softness on the surface of the fabric (we can confirm, seriously soft stuff). SOURCING
The fabric used for the Fine Brushed collection is both sourced and woven in our factory in Portugal before being sent to our other family-run factory in Portugal, who then make our shirts. We have audited both factories to ensure that they uphold the highest standard of working ethic and we visit annually to ensure we maintain our good working relationship. Once made, these are then shipped to our warehouse in Kent where each order is personally packaged for each customer.

STYLING
The Weekend Fine Brushed shirts are versatile, sure, but they belong to casualwear. Throw one over your wax trousers and boots for a walk in morning dew, or wear it as an overshirt with a roll neck for extra layers. Wear it buttoned and tucked into jeans for errands in town, or succumb to the Sunday sofa moment and curl up in your soft shirt (even better if you have cashmere socks to go with).
