Inspired by the classic men’s style and - in WNU fashion - adjusted to the female form, our shorts are the ultimate in casual luxury.
INTRODUCTION
We don’t just borrow shirts from the boys, we also want their shorts. The Cabana short is a vintage inspired 70s cut, with a relaxed, loose leg fit, an open seam and wide waistband – for the ultimate in both comfort and line. The shorts are designed to sit just on your waist or hips - whichever is most comfortable! - with an oversized cut to the body. Taking inspiration from classic menswear boxers, WNU reimagined the style for women, combining our staple tailoring with a loose fit, to create the most flattering and comfortable pair of shorts imagined.
MATERIAL
In order to create our towel fabric, our production team spent over a year and a half researching and developing different sustainable materials, until we created the perfect towel that was absorbent, lightweight and ultra-soft. As opposed to using cotton, WNU’s latest innovation in sustainability led to our towelling fabric being made from organic bamboo mixed with recycled polyester. These materials are both extremely durable ensuring that our shorts have a long life-span, so you can wear them summer after summer. SOURCING
Our Towel fabric is sourced and woven in our factory in Portugal, before being sent to our other family-run factory in Portugal, to hand make our shorts. Both factories have been chosen through our auditing process to ensure that they uphold the highest standard of working ethic and ensure a proper wage and working conditions. Once the shorts are made, they are shipped to our warehouse in the UK where each order is personally checked and packaged for each customer.
The towelling capsule is our high summer collection and has been created with the beach in mind, but our shorts are also the perfect casual item that can be worn around town or just for lazing at home. Complete the look by wearing the Towel Shorts with the matching Cabana Towel shirt; or, head down to take a dip with just the shorts, a bikini and a bucket hat for perfect pool party attire.
