The ultimate summer essential in 100% organic Linen, with a loose and easy-to-style fit. A strong and durable natural fibre, derived from the flax plant, guarantees an item’s longevity, so you can rewear it time and time again. It’s particularly well-suited to the summer, due to its lightness, which makes it easy and cool to wear. Perfect with denim for a comfortably casual look.
How to wash:
Machine wash on 30°C or below, on a gentle, low spin cycle, or hand wash. Wash with a gentle, protective detergent, such as Kair’s Wool, Silk and Delicates Wash, and for extra protection use a mesh laundry bag if machine washing.
How to dry:
Air dry on a flat surface, or a hanger. Do not tumble dry as the heat and agitation can damage the fibres.
How to iron:
The relaxed, crumpled texture of washed linen means ironing is completely optional. If ironing, use a high heat (max 200ºC), and steam or use Finishing Spray to release lingering creases.
How to fold:
Travelling with your shirts? We would always recommend rolling instead of folding to help reduce wrinkles. To roll, lay the buttoned up shirt on it’s back and pull back one side so it sits directly on top of its other half. Pick up both sleeves and fold them vertically down the body of the shirt. Then starting at the collar, gently roll the shirt from top to bottom; when you get to the sleeves, fold them in and continue until your whole shirt is rolled up.
If you prefer to fold, then button up the shirt and flip it over so it’s button-side down. Fold the left sleeve and body section of the shirt in and then line the sleeve vertically down; repeat with the right side. Finally, fold the shirt up from the bottom in thirds and turn over.
If you’re machine washing, avoid overloading the drum. It’s important to give your linen breathing space: too many other items can twist or pull it out of shape (we recommend half full). If you’re hand washing, only use a gentle swishing motion - never wring, twist or scrub linen. Hand washing is preferable if your shirt isn’t heavily soiled, or for linen with a loose weave.
