The Blazer:
Our Blazers are made from non-mulesed wool, making them naturally breathable, resistant to odours, and dirt-repellent. Wool is also naturally averse to water, which is why this blazer is dry clean only. By avoiding home washing, you'll not only save time—since they can be worn repeatedly without laundering—but will also save water.
If you need to spot-treat between dry cleans, you can lightly spray the blazer with a gentle garment refresher but make sure this isn’t bleach-based as this will damage the material.
When storing your blazer, hang them in a wardrobe away from direct sunlight. For a sharp, pressed finish, turn the blazer inside out, iron on a low-medium heat, and finish with a light steam.
The Shirt:
Machine-wash in reverse, in cold water (30° C max), and with similar colours. Hang to air dry after a quick shake, and to ease the ironing effort, always hang on a hanger. If possible, avoid direct sunlight unless the fabric is white, and never tumble dry.
Ironing is recommended for a pressed finish. It’s an easy fabric to iron: again use a low-medium heat, and finish by steaming. Our shirts should be ironed inside out. We would always recommend rolling instead of folding to help reduce wrinkles.
