Fashion Product Development Placement Intern

Full Time: (5 Days a week)
Location: Battersea, London

The Role

Based in London, we are seeking a highly motivated individual who is passionate about being a part of a fashion start-up. The candidate must be organised, have attention to detail, a problem-solving attitude and a creative eye. This role will have a focus on Product Development but will also involve helping the general Production department when needed.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

This is a full-time role at our office in Southwest London. The candidate will report to the Production and Product Development Manager.

• Assisting with daily management and organisation of development samples.

• CAD work, helping with seasonal CADs and tech pack creation.

• Assisting with the seasonal organisation both digitally and physically within the studio.

• Taking part and helping with fittings.

• Working day to day with the design and product development team to oversee the full design/development process.

 

Essential Skills and Requirements

To be considered for the role of Product Development Intern, the successful candidate must:

• Be a student at university requiring a work placement as part of their degree.

• Be proficient in Adobe Suite; most notably Illustrator and Photoshop

• Have a good understanding of Microsoft Office.

• Capable of multitasking and handling a broad range of responsibilities across departments.

• Be organised and methodical in their work.

• Have a positive, can-do attitude, with great interpersonal skills.

This is an internship for students requiring industry experience as part of their placement year.

Assistant Manager

Job Title: Assistant Manager

Reporting to: Store Director

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Belgravia, London

 

About the Role

Due to exceptional and exciting business growth since opening our flagship store we are looking to recruit an Assistant manager to join our London store. The WNU Assistant manager will be experienced in providing outstanding luxury service, driving sales and building strong relationships with all clients as well as managing and motivating sales staff.

They must be passionate about shirts, love spending time with customers and confident in delivering a high calibre experience whilst maintaining commerciality. They will thrive on working autonomously whilst supporting the Store Director with day to day store operations.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Achieving store targets by training, mentoring and providing feedback to store members
  • Delivering best in class customer experience with the ability to develop meaningful and loyal client relationships.
  • Be a Brand Ambassador, communicating features and benefits of merchandise beyond the basics, current fashion trends, and suggestive selling techniques, to appeal to the customer’s needs, and ultimately generate sales.
  • Confident in handling refunds and client issues
  • Ability to manage basic store operations: processing shipment/transfers in a timely manner, merchandising goods on the sales floor, maintaining perfect visual standards, aware of inventory/shortage concerns, and communicating replenishment needs.
  • Understanding GDPR and using customer databases
  • Ensure exceptional standards in housekeeping and visual merchandising
  • Maintain stock levels in the store
  • Excellent communicator and a team player


    REQUIREMENTS:
  • 1 - 2 years of prior high end retail experience as an Assistant Manager or supervisor.
  • Must be available to work on weekends and flexible to support in in-store events
  • Proven ability to achieve sales goals and create productive client relationships.
  • A willingness to embrace demonstration-based sales techniques
  • Strong leadership, management and organisational skills
