Store Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

WNU have opened their first retail store with the intention to reach a whole new audience and allowing the current community to experience the brand IRL! You'll get to be a part of helping to shape the in-store experience, guided by our supportive team who have already created a strong community through our great products and excellent experience. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of our retail strategy, making a direct impact on WNU's future growth. You will help define and implement the in-store experience for WNU, which will inform how we offer our service in many stores to come.

We're looking for someone who likes a challenge, who's capable of quick, creative solutions and is excited by the idea of helping build something from the ground up. You must be passionate about people and the retail industry. You will possess a high standard of organisation, time management, and commercial capability.

The right candidate will be passionate about shirts, love spending time with customers and confident they can deliver a best-in-class experience alongside commercial results. You will help define how we scale this into other stores through the right team, training, and processes. You will thrive on working autonomously to achieve clear goals.

While the majority of your time will be spent in-store, you will proactively work to ensure you are meeting with and getting to know the wider business and team, leveraging and sharing your insights and experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the commercial performance of the store, driving forward sales, and achieving company objectives
  • Building customer profiles and nurturing relationships with VIP clients.
  • Providing excellent, memorable customer service to our community
  • Have an eye for styling and a passion for women’s shirting
  • Working with the Founder, Head of Marketing, and relevant stakeholders to define retail goals and procedures
  • Lead and manage the store team, including recruitment, development, coaching, and well-being
  • Maintaining appropriate staffing levels within budget
  • Ensuring an outstanding experience for 100% of visitors to our store
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels in your shop and ensure exceptional standards in housekeeping and visual merchandising
  • Maintaining the security of the premises, stock, and all monies
  • Being hands-on and ready to take on any task that may be required for the effective running of the store/or wider business
  • Proactively developing experiments and insights to inform how we can improve what we do and how we do it


NOTE: The role is full-time and will require you to work weekends, evenings, and some public holidays as needed

EXPERIENCE

  • 2-4 years of experience in retail as a manager
  • CRM experience
  • Experience managing people and a natural role model
  • Demonstrable experience delivering exceptional customer experience and business results
  • Demonstrable experience selling products requiring specialist knowledge
  • Experience recruiting, training and developing a team
  • A willingness to embrace demonstration-based sales techniques
  • Experience in driving business KPI’s, staff planning, inventory etc.
  • Excellent communication skills and merchandising abilities – including the capacity to converse warmly and effortlessly with customers

Customer Service Executive

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are growing fast, and we’re looking for a new Customer Service Exec to lead the customer team, manage day to day customer operations and direct our approach to customer service and the customer experience. We are looking for someone who will act as the eyes and ears of our customer, who understands world class service, and can deliver customer centric change throughout the business. Ideally from a similar background, you’ll leverage experience, and be central to our company's success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will be the face of WNU, where you will act as a brand ambassador and bring the voice of the customer to the whole business.
  • With a small team currently in place, the role will be hands on, you’ll be responsible for providing support to your team and with any customer queries that need escalating.
  • Work with our warehouse team and other managers to continuously review processes and lead the delivery of any change required, in order to ensure a best in class approach to customer success.
  • Be responsible for seeking out and identifying new opportunities to evolve the customer journey.
  • Take the lead on our customer experience strategy from the unboxing experience to a loyalty programme.
  • Collect, analyse and present customer data to gain insights to drive change.
  • Work closely with marketing and web teams to suggest improvements to the customer journey.
  • Feedback to internal teams on recurring issues and product-related feedback. Lead and develop a team
  • Identify deliverables to improve the day-to-day functioning of the team and the KPIs to measure those.
  • Identify and use clear metrics to measure the success of your team and direct employee performance.
  • Collaborate and implement customer strategy with our Production Manager and CEO, in line with company goals.
  • Work across the business to champion the customer’s needs, and develop a customer-centric culture within WNU.


REQUIREMENTS

  • You’re fanatical about excellent service.
  • 1-2 years in a similar role at a high growth brand or startup.
  • You’re entrepreneurial, self motivated, driven, and a problem solver.
  • Comfortable managing, supporting and developing in a small team.
  • Confident analysing customer data to gain insights and direct change.
  • Comfortable in managing relationships with 3rd parties (3PL and software account managers).
  • Good working knowledge of common customer support tools like Freshdesk and Shopify.
  • CRM experience is desirable
  • Have a passion for product and attention to detail
  • You are both operational and empathetic and love to make customers happy.

Digital Designer

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Digital Designer to join our team part time. Reporting to our Marketing Manager with a dotted line to our Production and Digital teams, you will aid in visually bringing the brand to life across all of WNU’s channels.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Translate campaign creative into digital assets that are engaging and creative, as well as commercially attractive
  • Work alongside and take direction from the Creative Lead and marketing briefs to design and deliver digital assets for day to day brand communications across homepage/website, email/newsletters, social, brand partners and paid media channels
  • Design and deliver brand assets such as look books, invites, collaboration presentations and press packs
  • Maintain and uphold the WNU brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all channels
  • Be able to do light retouching of collection and campaign photoshoot imagery on Photoshop
  • Manage the In-house imagery library
  • Be able to edit and create video content for use in Adverts and Social


YOU WILL NEED TO

  • Possess strong design principles, an eye for detail and the ability to combine commerciality and creativity in all the work you produce
  • Have a portfolio showing a sensitive, sophisticated and imaginative approach to visual design
  • Have experience creating digital assets for different channels
  • Have an ability to work on a range of projects at once and be reactive to last minute requests
  • Be well organised, a stickler for detail and have excellent time management skills. Requirements
  • 2+ years proven graphic design experience at a luxury fashion brand or as part of an editorial team
  • A serious pro in Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Experience working on digital platforms (such as; Shopify, Prismic and Klaviyo)
  • An understanding of social media best practices, and experience in creating content for it
  • A positive and collaborative attitude

Interns play a huge part in team WNU. From assisting on shoots to content creation to working in the fashion cupboard, there are a number of exciting creative roles for you to be a part of. We are looking for someone who is motivated, passionate about being part of a fashion start-up with a creative eye. Please note knowledge of the Adobe suite is essential to this role.
