Part Time: (2 Days a week)
Location: Battersea, London

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities
● Manage obligations to suppliers, customers, and third-party vendors.
● Reconcile and maintain the financial statements.
● Prepare, send, and store invoices.
● Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments.
● Identify and address discrepancies.
● Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable.
● Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets.
● Processing expense requests.
● Maintaining the company purchase ledgers.
● Basic administration.
● Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
● Prepare and submit VAT returns and liaise with payroll company each month on payroll preparation.
● Assist with HR queries such as contracts, holidays, maternity leave etc…

Essential skills:
● Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role.
● Proven work experience working within a HR role.
● Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection regulations.
● Hands-on experience with accounting software (Xero).
● Advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)
● Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors.
● Good organizational and time-management abilities.

Desirable skills:
● Work experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar role.
● BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field.
● Experience working in HR and UK employment law
● Strong understanding of working within an SME. (Fashion and retail a bonus)

Soft skills:
● Must be able to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
● Excellent communication skills, able to provide clear direction and leadership on creative concepts
visually and verbally.
● Should be able to adapt to the changing needs of a fast-paced fashion business.

About the role

Responsibilities

● Responsible for the commercial performance of the store, driving forward sales, and achieving company objectives

● Lead and manage the store team, including recruitment, development, coaching, and well-being

● Ensure the store team receive solid product training for them to provide excellent customer service

● Have an eye for styling and a passion for women’s shirting

● Building customer profiles and nurturing relationships with VIP clients

● Proactively developing experiments and insights to inform how we can improve what we do and how we do it

● Working with the COO, Head of Marketing, and relevant stakeholders to define retail goals and procedures

● Prepare Monthly P&L’s for the store to review with the COO
● Prepare monthly proposals to review with the COO to drive footfall and customer engagement.

● Maintain appropriate stock levels in your shop and ensure exceptional standards in housekeeping and visual merchandising

● Oversee and manage monthly stock takes

● Prepare annual store targets and budgets aligned with the company goals

● Prepare and present trade report at the weekly trade meeting

● Maintaining appropriate staffing levels within budget

● Being hands-on and ready to take on any task that may be required for the effective running of the store/or wider business

● Ensuring an outstanding experience for 100% of visitors to our store

● Providing excellent, memorable customer service to our community
● Oversee and manage in store activations and pop ups including:
Staffing levels, Cutlery / Glasses / Plates have been organised, If the event is driven by the marketing team, please ensure you liaise closely with the marketing manager to ensure what role they will play, Maintaining the security of the premises, stock, and all monies

About the Role

Due to exceptional and exciting business growth since opening our flagship store we are looking to recruit a junior Style Advisor to join our London store. The WNU Style Advisor will be experienced in providing outstanding luxury service, driving sales and building strong relationships with all clients.

Your responsibilities

- Delivering best in class customer experience with the ability to develop meaningful and loyal client relationships.

- Be a Brand Ambassador, communicating features and benefits of merchandise beyond the basics, current fashion trends, and suggestive selling techniques, to appeal to the customer’s needs, and ultimately generate sales.

- Confident in hosting a personal shopping appointment

- Ability to manage basic store operations: processing shipment/transfers in a timely manner, merchandising goods on sales floor, maintaining perfect visual standards, aware of inventory/shortage concerns, communicate replenishment needs.

- Confident with styling and outfit building

- Understanding GDPR and using customer databases

- Communicative in relaying customer feedback to Manager

- Able to provide customer solutions

- Awareness of opening and closing duties

- Contributing necessary insight

- Handling refunds and client issues

- Ensure visual merchandising meets standards

- Replenishing stock

- Reporting missed sales

- Deliveries & recalls

- General inventory processes

- Schedule flexibility and dependability

REQUIREMENTS:

1 - 2 years of prior high end retail experience.
Proven ability to achieve sales goals and create productive client relationships.
