Inspired by sandy beaches, summer sun (with a light breeze) and days spent relaxing into the evening; this is the Weekend Seersucker shirt. The shirt features our staple, exquisite tailoring which is perfectly juxtaposed by our purposefully-wrinkled cotton, creating the Summer shirt of dreams. Trust us, this will be the first thing you throw in your suitcase for your upcoming holiday. The WNU Weekend shirt is designed with an exaggerated loose fit, sitting off the shoulders and away from the body, meaning you do not have to size up to achieve an oversized fit as we’ve already thought of that for you.
MATERIAL
The beautiful thing about our seersucker shirts is that they are made from 100% organic cotton, whose properties make this shirt breathable and comfy to wear. What’s more? The puckered fabric means ironing is not required. At all. Please visit our Meet The Materials page for more information.
- We highly recommend dry cleaning silk.
- Machine-wash in reverse, in cold water (30 degrees C max).
SOURCING
The fabric used for our seersucker collection - as with all WNU products - is sourced and woven in our factory in Portugal before being sent to another family-run factory in Portugal, who lovingly make our shirts. Both factories have been audited to ensure that they uphold the highest standard of working ethic and our production team visits them annually to ensure we maintain our close relationship. Once made, these are then shipped to our warehouse in Kent where each order is personally packaged for each customer.
STYLING
The Weekend Seersucker shirts are a holiday go-to, with our casual tailoring being perfectly juxtaposed by the relaxed fit and crinkled material. Designed with the sun in mind, the wrinkled material is practically asking to be packed in your suitcase - afterall, ironing isn’t required. Once at your destination (preferably a beach) throw your shirt on over a bikini and sandals, with your favourite sunglasses being used to pull back your hair.
