Tencel and Tencel Satin

With a luxurious drape and a beautiful weight, the Tencel material is a promising crinkle and crease-free wardrobe staple.

Our 100% Tencel Satin fabric is made from the same fibres as our beloved Tencel but in a satin weave that gives the fabric a shiny, slinkier finish.

DNA: 100% Tencel

Care: Machine-wash in cold water (30 degrees C max), and with similar colours.

Hang to air dry after a quick shake, and to ease the ironing effort, always hang on a hanger. If possible, avoid direct sunlight unless the fabric is white, and never tumble dry.

Ironing is optional due to the relaxed nature of the shirt but is recommended for a pressed finish. It’s an easy fabric to iron: make sure the shirt is reversed, use medium heat, and finish by steaming.

We would always recommend rolling instead of folding to help reduce wrinkles.

Please avoid using harsh chemicals such a stain removers as this can alter and ruin the natural yarn colour.

Sustainability: Tencel is made from a form of regenerated wood pulp. It consists of cellulose fibers, made by dissolving pulp and then reconstituting it by spinning and when used alone, as we do, the fabric is biodegradable.
