WNU Women: AURELIA DONALDSON

To celebrate the launch of WNU’s Fine Poplin collection, Founder & CEO Pip Durell collaborated with renowned fashion stylist and photographer Cathy Kasterine to shoot a portrait series of women who inspire the brand, shot and interviewed in their WNU.

Stylist Aurelia Donaldson launched creative consultancy, ALL/MOST AGENCY, with business partner Lowell Delaney in 2018. The pair curate strategic solutions for fashion, beauty and design brands, developing their clients' visual language, whilst strengthening their cultural impact within the global and digital world.

The Interview:

My name is Aurelia Donaldson and I’m a stylist and I run a creative consultancy.

Why did you start your business?

I started my business with my partner Lowell to really bridge a gap in the market where we just wanted to offer full creative solutions for different problems, not just one thing… We just believe that any idea is a good idea.

How do you wear your WNU?

I really actually believe that a good shirt you should be able to wear with anything, so with jeans, with a tailored trouser. I actually wear a lot of my shirts to bed!

What do you wish you'd known before you started?

I think I wish I'd known to ask more for advice, from anyone, everyone just has a little bit of advice that helps you along the way.

Is there one woman in particular who has impacted your career?

There’s not one particular person, I think just looking at women who work hard, get their head down, get things done. I mean my sister was very pivotal in my career, but mainly because I just found her incredibly brave that she left home so young and she did a crazy job travelling around the world all by herself, so really she inspires me a lot, but I think every woman I meet, there’s something inspiring there.

What is your New Year resolution?

My new year's resolution is actually the same as last year - which I failed - which is to say “yes” to everything, just say “yes”.

What would you have said to your younger self?

I would tell a younger me to relax, and everything that's meant to be will be.

What are your goals for 2024?

I actually don't believe in goals. I try and live the next thing that in front of you, if its a project, if its a day, just put your all into that thing, don’t look too far ahead
